The alert reaches you. Wherever you are.
Every signal from every TickSensei tool, and from your own strategies, routed to email, Telegram, Discord, ntfy, or your webhook, with rules so only what matters interrupts you.
The problem with NinjaTrader alerts
They pop up on the machine you are not sitting at. A risk breach at 2pm is worth knowing about at 2pm, not at 6pm when you get back to the desk.
And the alerts you can get are all-or-nothing. Either you are notified about everything, which you start ignoring within a day, or nothing.
What Kiai does
Channels. Email works with zero setup, going to your TickSensei account address. Telegram is the best phone alerting there is: instant, free, reliable. Discord for trade rooms and your own logging channel. ntfy for push without a bot. A generic webhook for anything else.
Rules that actually filter. Every rule can carry a minimum severity, a product, an instrument, and a message regex for the sharp cases. Two gates make the difference between useful and ignored:
- Dedupe windows. A condition that stays true re-raises every cycle. A dedupe window turns a hundred identical alerts into one.
- Daily caps. A hard ceiling so a bad day never becomes a hundred buzzes.
When a rule suppresses something, Kiai records why, so a missing alert is explainable rather than mysterious.
A queue that survives a crash. Alerts are written to disk before they are sent. If NinjaTrader dies mid-delivery, the queue drains on the next launch. Transient failures retry with backoff; permanent ones are dropped and reported in the live delivery log rather than retried forever.
Rate limits built in, per transport, so you never get a destination throttled.
It carries the whole suite
Fudoshin publishes warns, breaches, flattens, and lockouts. Ukemi publishes disconnects, data stalls, and naked positions. Honbu publishes kill-switch events. One place to configure where all of it goes.
And your own strategies
Drop the BridgeAlert indicator on a chart, set its source label, and call SendAlert from
your NinjaScript. Every strategy you have written gets phone alerts without touching its logic.
The three rules that are enough
- Critical only, any product, to Telegram. This is the one that interrupts you.
- Everything, to email, deduped at five minutes. The written record.
- Warnings from Fudoshin, to Telegram, deduped at ten minutes, capped at ten a day. Early warning that you are approaching a limit.
Alert delivery depends on third-party services (Telegram, Discord, ntfy, your mail provider and your network) and cannot be guaranteed. Do not rely on an alert as your only risk control; use Fudoshin for enforcement. Futures trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Educational tools only.
